Spitfire Studios is Warren Huart’s legendary mix room in Los Angeles, now perfectly recreated inside VSX. Designed by Jay Kaufman, this control room delivers total accuracy. Nothing hyped. Nothing missing. So every mix decision feels honest and effortless. The room features Warren’s trusted setup: an emulated Wayne Jones mains for deep, powerful low end; an emulated Genelec 8351s for balanced, precise stereo imaging; and an emulated Kali LP-6s for detailed midrange checks. When Steven Slate and his team captured Spitfire for VSX, they worked side by side with Warren to ensure every reflection, nuance, and sonic detail was modeled perfectly.
