Whoa! The Mike Dean room is AWESOME! I can hear stuff in the bass of the track that I couldn’t hear before. Really, really good stuff. I think it’s now my favorite room for critical listening.

The Mike Dean NS10s may be my favorite nearfields. What a cool midrange zoom without distractions. Very interesting to switch between mains/nearfields and hear how stuff punches on both systems and how the vocals translate.

I swear this expansion is my best friend. I’ve always struggled with my low end if my 808 and kick is hitting right. A lot of the time I’m not hitting my beats with enough bass to hit hard. I would bring it out to my car and have to up the bass or make whatever adjustments. Now with Mike’s car, I know exactly how much low end to hit and it’s exactly how it sounds in my ride the way it should be.

30 seconds into the Mike Dean expansion. OMG… Every minute detail or the articulation and sliding between bass notes is gloriously represented. Superb.

The room saved my mix yesterday cuz I found a bad resonance that ruined the whole mix but I didn't hear it in the other rooms, until it was gone and the whole mix came to life.

Wow...the new VSX expansion (especially the mains) solved one huge problem I had: 200hz area. For some reason, I struggle for years with this. Always too muddy or too thin. The expansion helps a ton with this!

On the new Tannoys I found some very harsh frequencies I couldn’t hear anywhere else… this is a God send… Checking low frequencies on this thing is a new level. Amazing!

I think the NS-10's are pretty dang good for mid checks and if I compare the highs on it to reference tracks on all of the speakers, it helps me for sure still. I like to check in many rooms though, referencing tracks. It really helps to see how your track translates compared to reference tracks that have a sound you are trying to meet or beat.
