Your speakers may be lying to you
✕ What you're mixing againstAnd why your mix falls apart in the car
The truth with VSX✓ VSX reference
Even great studio monitors can be misleading when your room creates huge peaks and dips in the frequency response. You compensate for problems that actually aren’t there, only to discover your mix sounds completely different elsewhere.
VSX takes your room out of the equation.

The Solution
How VSX improves your mixes
MIX IN PRO STUDIOS
Mix on world-class speakers in professionally designed acoustic environments. All through headphones, without the acoustic problems of your own room.
MIX IN THE CAR
Build mixes that ace the car test—without leaving your studio. Check bass response, vocal balance, and high end clarity across multiple revealing car systems.
MIX IN THE CLUB
Hear your mix in club environments with massive sound systems and room acoustics. When your track hits hard here, you know it will hit hard everywhere.
MIX ON CONSUMER DEVICES
Check your mix on earbuds, a boombox, and a cell phone right from your studio. You'll know it will sound great on the devices your listeners will actually hear it on.
Finally.
Mixes That Pass
The Car Test
The car test is the most revealing way to find out what’s wrong with your mix, and it’s always frustrating to hear how different the mix sounds in the car versus your studio speakers.VSX provides 4 emulated car sound systems. And just like the real thing, they will tell you exactly what needs fixing.

Speakers in a
headphone?
VSX uses a technology called binaural psychoacoustics. It presents the same auditory cues to your ears that they would typically hear in a room with real speakers. Finally, the software is precisely tuned to an Ultra HD pair of beryllium driver headphones.

Real user reviews
VSX is trusted by thousands of producers around the world and is one of the most highly praised pro audio products in the market.
Fernando Guerra Rojas
VSX will blow any monitor or poorly treated room out of the water. The translation is amazing. I used Adams, NS10 and 6 types of studio spaces and nothing translate as good as VSX.
Danny Mee
For years I've mixed in my studio and thought the mixes where good. Wow, how wrong I was lol. VSX really highlights the nasty frequencies you just can't normally hear. My mixes translating better than ever. Thank you Steven Slate for such an amazing product.
Ethan Bartlett
Within an hour of putting these on my head I was mixing better than I ever have.
Chris Ruscoe
VSX has to be one of the best (if not THE best) audio product today, particularly given the price point. My mixes have improved DRAMATICALLY (perhaps a 10 fold improvement).
John Marshall
My room is fully treated, speakers calibrated etc. But I refine my mixes using VSX all the time, and they translate so much better than they ever have before, without having to take them away and test them on a bunch of different sound systems.
Sean Kebely
My mixes have improved immeasurably since I purchased mine. It still amazes me how clearly I can hear on these headphones. The VSX system has changed my life.
